SAW YOU IN MY DREAMS I think I saw you in my dreams You were soft and tender The memory of you runs deep I will always remember There’s a version of me I haven’t seen in a while Somwhere way in the distance is a boy still with his smile Don’t let the waves get too near him Keep him close to your heart And if you should get to see him Tell him I’m not that far I think I saw you in my dreams You were soft and tender The memory of you runs deep I will always remember

Jaded 03:52
JADED There’s a chip on your shoulder And you think you get treated bad Ain’t nobody wronged ya All the wrong is inside your head You think it’s all set against ya Well that ain’t necessarily so You should change perspective Either that or just let it go Well I have had enough I won’t let you steal all the fun I’ll be the bigger man Let’s forget it Let bygones be bygones You should stop your stressing Didn’t you hear it’s a waste of time Ain’t that complicated There’s no need to believe the lies How you see the problem It is totally up to you You should try come higher And leave that jaded kind of view Cause I have had enough I won’t let you steal all the fun I’ll be the bigger man Let’s forget it Let bygones be bygones Why are you always mad Take a deep breath Just chill out Things ain’t that bad Let your hair down Fix your crown You are so jaded it’s unreal

Well lately I have been struggling I’ve been wondering about things When will things get better Will things get better Is this the way that it is Sometimes trying is tiring And my cylinders stop firing If I keep it moving and keep on going I’ll make it Just wait and see Somehow I’ll do it I promise that we’ll get through this Somehow we’ll get there I promise that we’ll get through this Ain’t no relaxing My baby’s asking Just what the future will be When will things get better Will things get better I told her baby believe Things keep stressing me Incessantly And trying to take what’s left of me But any problems I know we’ll solve them So baby rest easy We’ll get through it I promise that we’ll get through this Babe don’t worry I promise that we’ll get through this I know that we’ll be just fine in time Baby I promise I know we got this So keep your chin up Don’t give up Our sunshine will show up Someday Babe don’t worry I’ll find the silver lining Baby stop your crying

Spaceship 03:06
SPACESHIP Galaxies are calling I think it’s time to go Don’t wanna overstay my welcome It’s time I hit the road I won’t let gravity keep me back There’s no need to stay so low Before I hit the dirt track I just want you to know Baby I don’t wanna leave without you Lady My spaceship has the space just for you Come let's fly babe We can get high babe And do what you like babe What you say babe Baby if you wanna We can find Nirvana If we catch the rapture We can spend the night in Utopia I don’t wanna go alone So baby let’s just roam And if we like the view Then we can take the long way home

There are times that I Think that I’ve had enough And I feel that I Think that maybe I’m done No matter how hard I try I just can’t walk away So I think that I Think that I’m here to stay I think I love you again You see when it comes to love I’m not the best that there is And when the times get rough Loving doesn’t come easily But my skin is tough And I know that you’re the one that I want So I won’t give up on us I promise you I’m down for the run I think I love you again Girl you stole my heart Every single part Girl you are the one I think I love you again

Home 05:16

about

‘Home’ means different things for everyone.

For some of you, home may be your safe space and haven; for others, it’s the place you'd rather not be. Home also isn’t just a physical place but where you dwell mentally and emotionally.

Getting to that place of security and peace can take time. There are many delays in all of our journeys. I’m sure we all individually wonder when it is we’ll “arrive” at success, peace, love etc.

It was a Tumblr post that initially inspired the title for this EP. It simply said: *takes the long way home just to listen to more songs* .

I fell in love with the idea of providing music that could help you to focus not only on reaching your destination, but enjoying your journey. Songs that provided the safe space. Songs that could help you forget your delays. Songs that give you the scenic route.

I hope this EP does that for you in some way.
