After a frustrating day in the studio, I wasn’t feeling very inspired and mockingly started singing the first line “Today feels like a waste of time”. I was motivated by the song’s catchiness, and it’s been fun making a song that belongs to a genre I haven’t typically done, but hopefully shows my range as an artist. The song initially started as a semi-joke to pass the time but then turned into a song I kept coming back to. Now it's one I enjoy most on the project and also one I get a lot of positive feedback on.

The collaboration with US based rapper Kota the Friend came about after finding we were mutual fans of each other's work that would congratulate each other on Instagram. I love what his verse brings to the track.
